Special Art Exhibit and Workshops by Fulbright Senior Scholar in Tbilisi

On June 26, 2003, U.S. Embassy Tbilisi opened a special exhibition of new works by Joseph Kagle, Fulbright Senior Specialist to Georgia, entitled "American Supra II, Celebrating New Ideas, the Joy of Color and Freedom." Dr. Kagle, FY 2003 Fulbright U.S. Scholar, was invited to Georgia for the second time as a Fulbright Senior Specialist to give a paper at the 1st International Silk Road Symposium organized by the Georgian Academy of Science and International Black Sea University. He is also conducting a three-day grant writing workshop for representatives of Georgian cultural organizations and participating in a workshop at the first contemporary art and residence center in Georgia -- the Art Villa Garikula.
