HIV/AIDS Awareness in Estonia

U.S. Embassy in Estonia assists with AIDS prevention, education, and treatment projects.

Group creates the image of an HIV/AIDS ribbon using candles near Kaarli Church in central Tallinn.

U.S. Embassy Tallinn provided a grant to the Estonian Society of HIV Positive Persons to assist in the integration of HIV positive people into society and the nurturing of a positive outlook towards them. In the photo, the group created the image of an HIV/AIDS ribbon using candles near Kaarli Church in central Tallinn.

U.S. Embassy Tallinn provided a grant to the AIDS Prevention and Drug Users Consulting Center in Tapa to conduct a research project with the goal of developing an activity plan for HIV/AIDS prevention in eastern Estonia.
