Commercial Opportunities in Reykjanes

Ambassador Gadsden and members of his staff toured the Reykjanes municipalities on May 27, 2005, to gain first hand knowledge about the latest commercial opportunities being pursued in the region. For decades, the U.S. Naval Air Station at Keflavik has been the largest employer in the area, but over the past few years this has declined due to post-Cold War restructuring at the base.
