U.S. Ambassador to Israel Addresses Iftar Dinner

U.S. Ambassador to Israel Ambassador Daniel C. Kurtzer addessed an Iftar fast-breaking dinner for approximately 80 Israeli Muslims. Invitees included Members of Knesset, civil and religious court judges, mayors, academics, non-governmental activists, leaders of Bedouin villages, commercial contacts, and former International Visitors (IV) grantees and Israeli-Arab Scholarship Program (IASP) alumni. In his remarks during the dinner, the Ambassador expressed his hopes that the event would serve to strengthen continuing relations between the Embassy and the Arab community in Israel. He also responded to questions on the U.S. Presidential elections taking place, noting the high level of voter participation in this year's election. State Department photo.
