Local villagers collect water on April 15, 2003 from tanker trucks supplied by the U.S.Army outside of the municipal stadium in Kirkuk. The water was distributed by members of the 404th Civil Affairs Unit and the 173rd Airborne Battalion in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Operation Iraqi Freedom is the multinational coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi people, eliminate Iraq's weapons of mass destruction and end the regime of Saddam Hussein.
