Nadia Shepherd is currently a Line Assistant in the Executive Secretariat office (S/ES-S). Ms. Shepherd advances the Secretary’s travel and serves as a link between the Secretary’s staff and U.S. embassies. Previously, she worked as an Operations Specialist in the Operations Center--the State Department’s 24/7 Crisis Center--and as a Secretary in the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, Office of Lebanon, Jordan, and Syria Affairs. She first began working for the State Department in 1998 as a Summer Hire with the Bureau of Administration, Information Programs and Services.
