Rewards for Justice: Expansion of Campaign to the Congo Region

On July 29, 2002, Pierre-Richard Prosper, Ambassador-at-Large for War Crimes Issues, announced the expansion of the "Rewards for Justice" campaign to the Congo region.

Pictured in the wanted poster below are nine of those who were being sought (top row, left to right: Felicien Kabuga, Augustin Bizimana, Jean-Baptiste Gatete, Augustin Bizimungu, Idelphonse Hategekimana; bottom row, left to right: Augustin Ngirabatware, Idelphonse Nizeyimana, Protais Mpiranya, Callixte Nzabonimana, and Tharcisse Renzaho).

Not pictured: Yusuf John Munyakazi, Ryandikayo, Charles Sikubwabo, Aloys Ndimbati.

Since then, two have been arrested: Jean-Baptiste Gatete and Augustin Bizimungu.

leads to the arrest or conviction of persons indicted by the
International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda for serious violations of
