Expansion of Campaign to Congo Region: Augustin Ngirabatware

Augustin Ngirabatware, wanted for war crimes, July 2002

On July 29, 2002, Pierre-Richard Prosper, Ambassador-at-Large for War Crimes Issues, announced the expansion to the Congo region of the "Rewards for Justice" campaign. Augustin Ngirabatware was named as one of those being sought.
