Ms. DeSilva, currently a Program Analyst in the Bureau of Administration, served as the Deputy Consul General, Chief of the Non-Immigrant Visa and the American Citizen Services Units in Trinidad & Tobago from August 2006 to August 2008. Immediately prior to that assignment, she was a Management Analyst for the Bureau of Information Resource Management.
Ms. DeSilva joined the Department in 1987 as a GS-2 Clerk-Typist and spent most of her career in the Human Resource field as an HR assistant and HR Specialist. Over the course of her career she has worked for Consular Affairs, Human Resources, African Affairs, Information Resources, Western Hemisphere Affairs and the Administration bureaus.
