Ambassador Mathieu is a career member of the Senior Foreign Service, and currently represents the United States to the Republic of Namibia. Her primary goals in Namibia include strengthening democratic institutions and respect for human rights, combating HIV/AIDS and promoting economic growth and prosperity.
Ambassador Mathieu graduated from Antioch College with a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Latin American Studies, and received a Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers University - School of Law.
