As part of its Panama Culture of Lawfulness Program funded by INL, the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (“ABA ROLI”) partnered with the Legal Medicine and Forensic Sciences Institute of Panama to carry out a series of trainings on an ABA ROLI-developed Crime Scene Protection and Culture of Lawfulness manual. The course demonstrates the importance of proper procedures at all stages in order to ensure that trustworthy evidence is presented at trial. The course will be replicated over the next few months with Panamanian trainers and the step-by-step manual developed by the program.
