The agreement provides U.S. assistance over three years to the Policia Nacional de Timor-Leste (PNTL) through the "Supporting Police, Sustaining Police" Program. The programs supported include anti-drug trafficking, police investigation skills, and logistics management, as well as targeted training and capacity-building for the Maritime Police and Border Police Units. The agreement also increases funding for advice and training to the Office of the Prosecutor General, PNTL, the judiciary, and the National Parliament.
