Danny Hall is the Deputy Management Counselor at the U.S. Embassy in London.
Mr. Hall joined the State Department in 1989 after various other careers, including working as an architect, Peace Corps Volunteer, small business owner, and strategic planner at the American Red Cross. He is a licensed architect and received an MBA from Yale. Since joining the State Department, he served in the Dominican Republic, Paris, Slovenia, and six years in Washington, D.C. Prior to his current assignment in London, he served on the Provincial Reconstruction Team in Jalalabad, Afghanistan for a year, working with a team of 80 soldiers and airmen on a small military base on the border with Pakistan.
In May 2008 Danny entered into civil partnership with Graham James in Westminster Town Hall in London. Graham is an actor currently appearing on stage in London in the long running production of Agatha Christie’s “The Mouse Trap.” Graham has three grown sons and four grandchildren, and is looking forward to the couple’s next posting.
