Jess Cuy is currently serving the Regional Security Office as a summer intern at the U.S. consulate in Istanbul. She was born and raised in Brecksville, OH and attended Allegheny College for her undergraduate degree in international studies and German. This fall, she will return to Georgetown University to complete her master’s degree at the Edmund A. Walsh Graduate School of Foreign Service. Jess has a regional focus on Europe and study at the BMW Center for German and European Studies. Once she graduates, she hopes to pursue a career in public service.
Jess' interests range from trade and security to smart grid technology and energy. In her spare time, she enjoys playing rugby, running, and cooking.
