Dianna Cannoy works in the Consular Systems and Technology Office in the Bureau of Consular Affairs. She started her career in the United States Air Force as a computer systems technician. The career field of computer systems operations incorporates many different occupations. So in the beginning Dianna started out as a telephone operator at the Pentagon, then became a unit security manager stationed at Camp Humphreys, Korea. Next she went to San Antonio, Texas working as a wing information assurance manager at Randolph Air Force Base (AFB.) Then she took an assignment to Hickam AFB in Hawaii also as a wing information assurance manager. Dianna's last assignment was at the White House Communications Agency in DC. She worked there six years until health required her separation from the military after almost 16 years.
Dianna enjoys working in the information assurance and project management fields. Her hobbies include learning languages, forensic science, biology and DNA, and sports. "I enjoy watching NFL football, especially players like Peyton Manning, who is a great player (and my favorite) on the field, and great role model off it."
