On Wednesday, March 20th, Aaron D. Snipe, Spokesperson for the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, spoke to approximately 200 students at the U.S. Department of State’s Foreign Policy Classroom program. Mr. Snipe spoke on “Foreign Policy Challenges and Opportunities in the Middle East and North Africa,” highlighting some of the Department’s efforts throughout the region. The students in attendance were from a variety of schools, including Georgetown, the Lutheran College Washington Semester program and the University of Pennsylvania. Jennifer Olson, a Public Affairs Officer in the Bureau of Public Affairs, delivered welcome remarks and introduced Mr. Snipe.
