Roselle, April 8 – During a visit to his hometown, Brandon Borkowicz, Vice Consul at the U.S. Consulate General Guangzhou, China spoke to five classes of students (approximately 150 students) at the Lake Park East Campus High School. Brandon discussed his first tour in the Foreign Service, potential career paths in the Foreign Service and the work of the U.S. State Department.
Mr. Borkowicz recently concluded his first two-year tour in the Foreign Service at U.S. Consulate Guangzhou, China. He graduated from the American University Washington College of Law in 2005, and graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Bradley University in 1999. He is originally from Roselle, IL, and has lived in London, Denver, and Washington D.C.
