Within the office of Public Liaison, the Washington Programs team coordinates Department programs for public groups upon request. Students, corporate executives, and educators are among the many that visit the U.S. Department of State.

High school teachers from the mid-Atlantic region attend "Hot Topics in Foreign Policy" seminar at the State Department. Participants met with various Department officials and learned about the Department's resources for educators and students.
