UNDER SECRETARY ROBERT HORMATS FOR ECONOMIC, ENERGY AND AGRICULTURAL AFFAIRS


Under Secretary Hormats travels to China and Vietnam from April 6-13 for bilateral meetings and to participate in the Bo’ao Forum for Asia (the Chinese Davos Forum).


SPECIAL ENVOY FOR SUDAN SCOTT GRATION

Special Envoy Gration is in Sudan to engage in active discussions with all parties and government officials to increase the transparency and credibility of the upcoming elections.


ASSISTANT SECRETARY FOR WESTERN HEMISPHERE AFFAIRS ARTURO VALENZUELA

Assistant Secretary Valenzuela travels the week of April 5 to Ecuador, Colombia, and Peru. He concludes his trip in Peru where he will meet with high level government officials, political and economic analysts, and examine the Peruvian government’s consolidated approach to confronting drug trafficking.
