USAID ADMINISRATOR RAJ SHAH

Administrator Shah is traveling to Africa, to visit both Kenya and Sudan, through May 18. On his visit, Administrator Shah will monitor the progress of President Obama’s Global Health Initiative and Food Security Initiative, and of U.S. investments in agriculture, health and democracy and governance. He will engage with USAID and U.S. Country and Regional Team staff and discuss the context of Sudan humanitarian, development and peace building missions. This is Administrator Shah’s first visit to Africa as USAID Administrator.
