USAID ADMINISRATOR RAJ SHAH

Administrator Shah is in Africa, to visit both Kenya and Sudan, through May 19. On his visit, Administrator Shah is monitoring the progress of President Obama’s Global Health Initiative and Food Security Initiative, and of U.S. investments in agriculture, health and democracy and governance. He is engaging with USAID and U.S. Country and Regional Team staff and discussing the context of Sudan humanitarian, development and peace building missions. This is Administrator Shah’s first visit to Africa as USAID Administrator.
