Under Secretary Hormats travels to Calgary, Canada for the G8 Sherpa meeting in preparation for the upcoming G-8 Leaders’ Summit in Muskoka, Canada.


UNDER SECRETARY FOR PUBLIC DIPLOMACY AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS JUDITH MCHALE
:
Under Secretary McHale is in Mongolia to visit the Amarbayasgalant Monastery and meet with the resident monks. UNDER SECRETARY FOR DEMOCRACY AND GLOBAL AFFAIRS MARIA OTERO:
Under Secretary Otero leads the U.S. delegation to the U.S.-Nigeria Binational Commission Working Group on Democracy, Transparency, and Integrity meetings in Abuja, Nigeria through May 28. She is also meeting with the Nigerian President Jonathan, senior government officials, and non-governmental organizations on other global affairs, including health and water issues.


UNDER SECRETARY FOR ARMS CONTROL AND INTERNATIONAL SECURITY ELLEN TAUSCHER:
Under Secretary Tauscher attends meetings surrounding the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty Review Conference, in New York.

Assistant Secretary Jeff Feltman and Deputy Assistant Secretary Philippe Reines are joining Ambassador Marshall and other Chiefs of Diplomatic Missions at the Kennedy Center.
