UNDER SECRETARY FOR POLITICAL AFFAIRS BILL BURNS:
Under Secretary Burns travels to Russia and Ukraine through September 10. In Russia, he will review key issues on our bilateral and international agenda, discuss future projects under the Obama-Medvedev Bilateral Presidential Commission and meet with key government ministers as well as civil society and human rights leaders.  In Ukraine, he will follow up on Secretary Clinton’s July visit with meetings involving governmental and non-governmental figures and discussions on how to enhance our bilateral strategic partnership.
