Japan - Okinawa Governor Visit to U.S.

QUESTION: What meetings are planned for the Governor of Okinawa during his visit to the US?

ANSWER: Okinawa governor Keiichi inamine will visit the State Department on Tuesday, may 15, for meetings with Deputy Secretary Armitage, Acting Assistant Secretary Hhubbard and other officials in the East Asian and Pacific Affairs Bureau.

Regarding Governor Inamine’s appointments outside the State Department, we would refer you to the agency in question or to the Japanese Embassy.
