| Notice to the Press Office of the Spokesman Washington, DC June 26, 2001 Conference: Partnership To Cut Hunger In AfricaThe Department of State is facilitating the June 27 afternoon session of the Partnership to Cut Hunger in Africa Conference in Washington, D.C. African dignitaries attending this meeting will include President Konare of Mali, President Kufour of Ghana, Prime Minister Mocumbi of Mozambique, Prime Minister Nsibambi of Uganda and Special Advisor on Food Security to the President of Nigeria, Dr. Abdullahi. The session will be held in the Loy Henderson Conference Room at the Department of State from 12:30-5:30 p.m. The entire session is open to the press and the Partnership would like to invite all interested media to attend the press conference at 2:00 p.m. in the Loy Henderson Conference Room. Press who wish to attend this conference should arrive at the 23rd Street entrance (between C and D Streets, NW) and present a government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense, or Foreign Press Center), (2) a photo ID issued by the employing media organization, or (3) a letter on official letterhead from their news organization verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo ID (drivers’ license or passport).
