Question: How many countries besides the United States and the United Kingdom maintain such a list of terrorist groups? Answer: We are not aware of any other country that has passed broad legislation similar to the Antiterrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act or the British Terrorism Act that actually identifies a list of officially-designated foreign terrorist groups. |
