U.S. Welcomes Covic Plan for Southern Serbia

The United States welcomes the statement by Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Nebojsa Covic that the Serbian government has developed a plan for achieving a peaceful political solution to the situation in Southern Serbia.

Together with our allies and other concerned parties, we will carefully review the plan. We believe that this initiative provides a basis for starting a peaceful process to end the conflict.
