Expulsion of Iraq Diplomat Assigned to Iraq Mission to the UN

Question: Three or four weeks ago the United States announced the expulsion of an Iraqi diplomat.  What became of this issue?  Was the diplomat expelled and for what reason or reasons was he expelled?   

Answer: The diplomat departed the country.  He was expelled for an abuse of the privilege of residence.
