Assistant Secretary of State Walter Kansteiner to Address the Press on his Visit to Africa

Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs Walter H. Kansteiner will address the press on Monday, July 29, 2002, at 2:30 p.m. in the State Department’s Press Briefing Room. He will discuss his recent trip to Angola and Nigeria and also address the peace agreements in Sudan and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Assistant Secretary will take questions from the media. Please note that this briefing will be on-camera and on-the-record.
