Travel by Secretary of State Colin L. Powell to Los Cabos, Mexico and Crawford, Texas

As announced on Friday, Secretary of State Colin L. Powell will travel this week to Los Cabos, Mexico and Crawford, Texas. While in Los Cabos, Secretary Powell will lead the U.S. delegation to the APEC Ministerial Meeting.  He will travel to Los Cabos on Wednesday, October 23 to attend meetings there.  Secretary Powell will then travel to Crawford, Texas for the meeting that President Bush is having with President Jiang Zemin of China on October 25.  Following the Crawford meeting, Secretary Powell will return to Los Cabos.

 

The Press Office is notifying those news organizations being offered a seat under the permanent rotation system.
