U.S. Payment to UNESCO

Question: What is the status of dues to UNESCO?

Answer: The Administration intends to work with Congress within the fiscal year 2004 budget process to reach agreement in regard to obtaining the funds necessary to pay future U.S. assessments to the United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
