Future of Iraq, Economic and Infrastructure Working Group Meeting

The Department of State is pleased to announce that the second session of the Future of Iraq's Economic and Infrastructure Working Group will convene on December 2–3, 2002 at the Radisson Barcelo, 2121 P Street, NW, Washington, DC.

At this session, the State Department’s Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs will be hosting approximately 15 "Free Iraqis" for discussions on economic policy, restoration of transportation, electricity, and communications infrastructure, job creation, debt and reparations, conversion of military industry to civilian uses, and foreign direct investment.
