Greece: U.S. Ambassador Unable to Attend School Program

Question: Was Ambassador Miller involved in an incident in Athens?  Describe the circumstances.

Answer: Due to security concerns over a local demonstration, Ambassador Miller and his wife were unable to participate in a program at a Greek school highlighting the students' environmental activities as part of the global learning to benefit the environment (GLOBE) program.
