Today, we are announcing an up to $5 million reward for information leading to the arrest or conviction in any country of those responsible for the kidnapping and murder of Daniel Pearl. We have posted this reward offer on the Rewards for Justice web site (www.rewardsforjustice.net). We also will advertise this reward offer in Pakistan in the near future. Both the United States and Pakistan are firmly committed to identifying all the perpetrators involved in Mr. Pearl’s murder and bringing them to justice. Persons wishing to report information about the murderers of Daniel Pearl, the groups involved, other terrorist attacks, or the planning of future terrorist attacks against U.S. persons or property should contact the authorities or the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate.
