Sri Lanka: Peace Process

Norway State Secretary for Foreign Affairs Helgesen met today with Deputy Secretary Armitage to discuss how best to facilitate the peace process in Sri Lanka. Mr. Armitage expressed full support for Norway’s efforts, and both agreed that the Government of Sri Lanka and the LTTE need to grasp this opportunity to end Sri Lanka’s tragic conflict anad forge a durable peace.
