Peru: Truth Commission's Request for Documents on Former President Fujimori

Question: Is the U.S. planning to cooperate with the Peruvian Truth Commission’s request to hand over certain documents relating to their investigation of former president Fujimori by next week?

Answer: We received a request for information by the Peruvian Truth Commission and will deliver some relevant documents to the Government of Peru shortly. We fully support the work of the Truth Commission and will consider any additional requests by the Government of Peru.
