Deputy Secretary Armitage's Meeting with Maurice Strong

Deputy Secretary of State Richard L. Armitage met today with Maurice Strong, the United Nations Secretary-General’s Personal Envoy to North Korea, to discuss the situation in that country. They exchanged views on issues of mutual concern, particularly with regard to the DPRK’s humanitarian needs.
