| Media Note Office of the Spokesman Washington, DC March 10, 2003 National Women's History Month Program: Women Pioneering the FutureThe U.S. Department of State’s Office of Civil Rights and the Secretary’s Open Forum are co-sponsoring a program in honor of the accomplishments of women in our nation’s history. The program will be held in the Harry S Truman Building, Dean Acheson Auditorium, 2201 C Street, NW, Washington, D.C., on Monday, March 10, 2003, from 3 to 4 p.m. The national theme for 2003 is “Women Pioneering the Future.”
Dr. Ellen Ochoa, Deputy Director of Flight Crew Operations, Johnson Space Center, in Houston, Texas, will share with Department of State employees her fascinating professional voyage that took her into orbit.
The Paul Laurence Dunbar Senior High School Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps Color Guard from Washington, D.C., will present the Colors.
