Briefing on Humanitarian Assistance for Iraq on Wednesday, April 2

On Wednesday, April 2, at 1:30 p.m., USAID Administrator Andrew Natsios, Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration Arthur E. Dewey, Bruce Davis, Director-General of AusAID and Dr. Christian Turner, First Secretary for Post-Conflict and Humanitarian Affairs of the British Embassy will brief the press on humanitarian assistance efforts in Iraq.

This briefing will be held in the Dean Acheson Auditorium, U.S. Department of State, and will be on the record and on camera. Media must use the 23rd Street entrance for access to this event.

11:30 a.m. Pre-Set for Cameras and Stills
1:00 p.m. Access for Writing Press
1:30 p.m. Final Access for All Media

Media representatives may cover this event upon presentation of either (1) a U.S. government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense, or Foreign Press Center, (2) a photo ID issued by the employing media organization, or (3) a letter on official letterhead from their news organization verifying their employment as journalists, accompanied by an official photo ID (driver’s license or passport).
