Ambassador Ruth A. Davis to Receive Public Service Award

The Director General of the Foreign Service and Director of Human Resources, Ambassador Ruth A. Davis, will be honored by Government Executive Magazine and the National Capital Area Chapter of the American Society of Public Administration with their David O. Cooke Award for Leadership in the Federal Service.

The award recognizes career employees for their leadership in achieving public policy, breaking down barriers between political appointees and civil service executives, and improving the public’s regard for government.

The National Capital Area Chapter Annual Awards Program and Medina Lecture will take place on April 23, 2003 at the St. Regis Hotel at 6 pm.
