Holocaust Days of Remembrance EventThe U.S. Department of State will host a Holocaust Remembrance Program on Tuesday, April 29, 2003 from Noon to 1:00 p.m. The location of the program will be in the Harry S Truman Building (Main State Department Building), Dean Acheson Auditorium, 2201 C Street, N.W., Washington, DC. Miss Lisa Lipkin, noted actress and storyteller, will perform her internationally acclaimed show, “What Mother Never Told Me…Reminiscences of a Child of a Holocaust Survivor.” Under Secretary for Political Affairs Marc Grossman and Special Envoy for Holocaust Issues Randolph M. Bell will deliver remarks.
The program will be open for press coverage. The Office of Civil Rights, the Office of Holocaust Issues, the Office of International Religious Freedom, the Secretary’s Open Forum, and the Foreign Affairs Recreation Association (FARA) State of the Arts Cultural Series are cosponsoring the program.
