Secretary of State Colin L. Powell to Visit Paris, France for G-8 Ministerial

Secretary of State Colin L. Powell will travel to Paris, France to attend the G-8 Foreign Ministers meeting May 22 – May 23, 2003. The Secretary will be working closely with his counterparts from France, Germany, Italy, Canada, the UK, Japan, Russia, and the EU on preparations for the G-8 summit in Evian, France June 1 – June 3, 2003. The Secretary will depart Washington on May 21 and return on May 23.

The Press Office is notifying those news organizations being offered a seat under the permanent rotation system.
