Zimbabwe: Protest Over Lack of Consular Access to American Citizen Journalist Andrew Meldrum (Taken Question)

Question:   Did the U.S. receive a response to the protest over the lack of consular access to Andrew Meldrum, the American citizen journalist Zimbabwe recently deported?
 
Answer:   We have not received any response from the Zimbabwean Government regarding our protest for lack of consular access to American citizen Andrew Meldrum prior to his deportation.

We continue to condemn strongly the Zimbabwean Government’s harassment and deportation of Mr. Meldrum.
