Secretary of State Colin L. Powell To Address American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee's 20th National ConventionSecretary of State Colin L. Powell will deliver the keynote address at the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee’s 20th National Convention Gala Awards Banquet on Saturday, June 14, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at the Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel, 15th and Eads Street, Arlington, Virginia. Secretary Powell’s address is open for press coverage and will begin at approximately 7:15 p.m. in the Arlington Ballroom of the Marriott Hotel.
Pre-set time for camera set-up: 4:00 p.m. Final access time for camera set-up: 5:45 p.m. All press must be in place by 7:00 p.m.
Media representatives may cover this event upon presentation of the following:
(1) a U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) an official letter from their employer on original letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification (driver’s license or passport).
