Travel of Secretary Powell to Kuwait and Iraq

From Geneva, Secretary of State Colin L. Powell will travel to Kuwait and Iraq. In Kuwait, he will confer with top leaders of our friend and ally about the situation in the region and our joint efforts to build stability. In Iraq, he will meet with Iraqis and with members of the Coalition Provisional Authority in order to see first hand the progress being made by the international community and by the Iraqi people in rebuilding their nation and society from 30 years of Saddam Hussein’s destructive rule.
