Meeting of The President's Interagency Task Force On Trafficking in Persons
The Task Force members are working to bring new partners into the fight against trafficking, focus anti-trafficking work in key geographic areas, and target sex trafficking and tourism. Their discussion will also address the growing public health risks associated with the trafficking sex trade.
There will be a camera spray prior to the beginning of the meeting. Press pick-up time for cameras and stills: 2:30 p.m. from the 23rd Street Entrance.
Media representatives who plan to attend must present one of the following press credentials: (1) a U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) a letter from their employer on letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification (driver’s license or passport).
