Deputy Secretary of State Richard L. Armitage to Address United States Global Leadership Campaign

Deputy Secretary of State Richard L. Armitage, will deliver an address to members of the Campaign to Preserve United States Global Leadership, Monday, March 15, at 1:30 p.m.  The event will be held in the Loy Henderson Auditorium of the U.S. Department of State, 2100 C Street N.W., Washington, DC.

 

The Deputy Secretary Armitage’s address will focus on the way forward in Iraq and the State Department’s role.

 

This event is open for press coverage.

Pre-set time for cameras:  12:45 p.m.

Final Access for All press:  1:15 p.m.

Press should use the 23rd Street entrance to enter the U.S. Department of State

 

Media representatives may cover this event upon presentation of the following:

(1) a U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense or Foreign Press Center), (2) a media-issued photo identification card, or (3) an official letter from their employer on original letterhead verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo identification (driver’s license or passport).
