In addition, the Secretary appointed Wan Kim, Deputy Assistant Attorney General, Civil Rights Division, Department of Justice, to the delegation.

The Secretary earlier appointed former New York City Mayor Ed Koch to head the U.S. delegation to the conference that the Federal Republic of Germany will host in Berlin April 28-29. Other members of the delegation are Betty Ehrenberg, Institute for Public Affairs, Orthodox Union of Jewish Congregations; Stephen Hoffman, President and CEO of United Jewish Communities; Jay Lefkowitz, Washington attorney; Jack Rosen, President of the American Jewish Congress; Fred Zeidman, Chairman of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Council; U.S. Ambassador to the OSCE Stephan Minikes; Ambassador Edward B.
