Noriega will give and on-camera, on-the-record briefing for the press on Thursday, May 6, 2004 at 2:30 p.m., to discuss the Report to the President by the Commission on Assistance to a Free Cuba. The briefing will be held in the Department of State Press Briefing Room (2209).
Media representatives planning to cover this briefing who do not have a Department of State building pass should arrive at the 23rd Street entrance by 2:00 p.m. for security procedures, and must present one of the following: (1) a U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense, or Foreign Press Center); (2) a photo identification issued by their employing media organization; or (3) a letter on official letterhead from their employing media organization verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo ID (valid driver's license or passport).
