Millennium Challenge Corporation Chief Executive Officer Paul V. Applegarth to Discuss the Designation of Countries Eligible for Funding

 

Millennium Challenge Corporation Chief Executive Officer Paul V. Applegarth will give and on-camera, on-the-record briefing for the press on Monday, May 10, 2004 at 2:30 p.m., to discuss the designation by the Board of Directors of the Millennium Challenge Corporation of sixteen countries eligible for funding.

 

The briefing will be held in the Department of State Press Briefing Room (2209).

 

Media representatives planning to cover this briefing who do not have a Department of State building pass should arrive at the 23rd Street entrance by 2:00 p.m. for security procedures, and must present one of the following: (1) a U.S. Government-issued identification card (Department of State, White House, Congress, Department of Defense, or Foreign Press Center); (2) a photo identification issued by their employing media organization; or (3) a letter on official letterhead from their employing media organization verifying their employment as a journalist, accompanied by an official photo ID (valid driver's license or passport).
